Chairman's walkabout

May 22, 2009

Each year the Chairman, accompanied by the managing Director, visits the staff and Council ‘shops’ This is Droitwich shop, which is designed as a one stop shop for residents to come and discuss council facilities, pay bills, collect tokens, blue badges, sort out problems, anything that effects local services. There is also a Job Centre and Citizens Advice service in the same building.

The building ( which is in fact two buildings made into one) was saved from falling into ruin by the council and is now a valuable resource for local people
