December 10th 6.30pm
Pershore High School
We were greeted by Pershore town clerk, Anne Dobbins and escorted to the head teachers office, where a glass of wine and mince pies awaited us. Other members of the chain gang were also there and after a short while, with raffle tickets purchased, in aid of the mayor’s charity appeal, we processed to the main hall. Having taken our seats, we were entertained by a variety of ‘acts’ ranging from school students to singers, dancers, musicians, humorous poems and monologues.
Mayor of Pershore, Cllr Chris Parsons, opens the concert. Headteacher Clive Corbett and tonight’s MC, can be seen in the background.
