Broadway Youth Club Launch

April 17, 2010

Saturday April 17th 12noon
Leamington Road, Broadway

This club has been around for 40 odd years. Recently local County and District councillor Liz Eyre, with some others, decided to restore and improve the building with modern, safe, equipment. The result is quite stunning and a real community benefit has come out of hard work and huge dedication by the volunteers involved. I was involved to officially launch the club and to help publicise the facility.

The clubhouse, situated just off the main street and very near to families that will use the wonderful facilities.

Inside, youngsters from 5 to 18 can play, watch,

use the internet, email, cook in the fabulous new kitchen, or just sit around and chat.

Publicity for the club is vital and the Evesham Journal were on hand to spread the word.

Liz Eyre, gets stuck in.

This is a great facility. I was extremely pleased to be part of the launch party. Thank you for the opportunity.

Wendy and I are always happy to support Evesham Volunteer Centre, which does wonderful work for those in and around Evesham. Tonights fashion show, put on by Just-In Ltd. of Winchcombe, was a great success. These pictures give a flavour of the very enjoyable time we all had.
